IT infrastructure. The foundation of all IT services
No company or application is the same, and therefore it is important that the entire chain is correct. The requirements must be accurate when questioning suppliers. This saves unexpected costs and legal liability. It is also simply efficient. You will be assisted in drafting the requirements for your supplier and in determining your IT infrastructure.
Data centres
How much computing power do you need to achieve your objectives, and how do you want to deploy it? Do you choose Public Cloud, Private Cloud, or prefer your own servers? Where should they be located? And is the data centre environmentally friendly?
Private Cloud?
Usually a good choice. It does not necessarily mean doing everything yourself. The solutions can be procured in various ways. A private cloud manages privacy, availability and independence at its core, making it a powerful, carefree solution.
Connections
Is the infrastructure, and thus the applications, in the right place? This is not a story about fibre optics but about accessibility and availability. Moving capacity to another location can easily improve quality, reduce costs, and prevent unwanted eavesdroppers.
Applications
Applications run on infrastructure. Infrastructure that aligns with the application is essential. Aligning the application with strategies is also a useful approach. Choices made in earlier phases can complicate sovereign infrastructure.
Hosting forms
An application imposes requirements on the hosting. It is a balance. Complex hosting due to unusual requirements can lead to downtime and high costs that can also escalate. Are the expected technologies modern, and is redundancy achievable?

The more you do yourself, the lower the costs. Then you must be able to do it yourself.

The sovereign workplace
The workplace is where the data is created, used and distributed. The applications for CRM, ERP, HRM and simply documents contain a lot of data. Also at the level of a person, a lot of data is exchanged. Think of address books, calendars and personal folders. You MUST have a grip on that. The location
Where is your data really located? That is a chain question. The supplier says it is in the EU, but in the meantime, there is an American supplier in the chain. The answer requires some digging and knowledge that we are happy to provide for you.
The access
Who can access your data? Who can read, write, delete, share, and copy? How many administrators are in the chain? Where do they come from? Can we trust them all? How will we ensure that everyone has just enough information about the data?
Legislation
Do you comply with laws and regulations, or are you even doing too much? What rules are there? And do they apply to you as well? There is at least one law that states that "I didn't know" is not a valid argument if you could have prevented a data breach.
